Admission is open to violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, flute and clarinet students ages 14 to 20. For nine intensive days, students are immersed in the highest level of classical music instruction and performance at the Innsbrook Institute Summer Music Academy.

Recorded Auditions
Live auditions will NOT be conducted. All student applicants, both new and returning, must submit a recorded audition CD or DVD and all required forms by stated deadlines.

Recorded submissions must be of good quality, but need not be professionally produced.

The recording should include 2 contrasting movements/works, and applicant’s choice of 2 major scales and 2 minors scales.

Repertoire to be studied and performed at the Innsbrook Institute Summer Music Academy will be assigned to students before the program begins. The Institute reserves the right to make repertoire and ensemble changes.

Returning students are not guaranteed acceptance.
