CONCERT SCHEDULE
The 2008 Innsbrook Institute Music Festival’s eighth season is sure to be a magical week with a host of inspiring guests, wonderful concerts and surprises.
This year we welcome cellist Julie Albers and violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, both of whom enjoy national and international fame as wonderfully entertaining performers. Pianists Wendy Chen and Peter Henderson, the Biava Quartet, cellist Jacob Braun, and clarinetist Scott Andrews will also return to Innsbrook by popular demand.
We will also be joined by flutist Mark Sparks. And we will see many of our old friends again, including Seth and Maryse Carlin, Isabel Trautwein, Atar Arad and a host of others.

The full Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra will present a wonderful concert on the edge of Lake Aspen. A tribute to the Viennese New Year’s concert played in Vienna every year on New Year’s Day since 1939, our concert will include the music of the Strauss family and their contemporaries. This is a perfect concert for the whole family.

This annual event will feature Mark Sparks, Anne Akiko Meyers, and more! This is a musical progressive party with stops at three beautiful homes on Lake Alpine, Innsbrook’s largest lake. Light hors d’oeuvres provided.

Anne Akiko Meyers, Andres Diaz and Wendy Chen will be featured in a performance of the Tchaikovsky Trio, which is known for its breathtaking lyricism and the cosmic finality of its final statement. It is also the most difficult piece Tchaikovsky wrote for piano, and perhaps one of the most beautiful!
