The following information is for students that will be attending the Innsbrook Institute Summer Music Academy 2010. You will find information regarding travel, concert tickets, the welcoming dinner, final breakfast, what to bring, activities, an example of a typical daily schedule, and housing information.
All students must complete a student questionnaire, travel itinerary form, medical release form and parental waiver.
Travel Information
Arrival Day: Friday, June 11, 2010
Check-in: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Innsbrook Property Management Building. Click here for directions.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. at the host families' homes
Evening Concert: 8:00 p.m.
*Innsbrook cannot be responsible for students (or their belongings) who arrive before 4:00 p.m. on registration day.
*Parents are invited to stay for dinner on registration day. Dinner will be served at each student's host family's home. The host families will be contacting the parents individually with dinner information.
*Parents are welcome to stay for the concert but will need to purchase tickets either in advance or at the door.
*Shuttle service from Saint Louis Lambert Airport will be available at $50 per student round trip. The shuttle will be leaving Saint Louis Lambert Airport at 4:00 p.m. Students planning to use the shuttle service should arrange their flights around the shuttle departure time. Alternative transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.

Departure: following the conclusion of the student concert
*The arranged shuttle service to Saint Louis Lambert Airport will leave Innsbrook at noon. Students planning to use the shuttle service should arrange their flights accordingly. (The one-way drive from Innsbrook to Saint Louis Lambert Airport is approximately one hour).
Means of Transportation
Airline Travel:
Students arriving by air may fly into Saint Louis Lambert Airport (STL) and either:
*Shuttle service from Saint Louis Lambert Airport will be available at $50 per student round trip. The shuttle will depart from Saint Louis Lambert Airport at 4:00 p.m. on Friday June 11, 2010 and the return trip will leave Innsbrook at noon on Sunday June 20, 2010. Students planning to use the shuttle service should arrange their flights around the shuttle times. The one-way drive from Saint Louis Lambert Airport to Innsbrook is approximately one hour.
*Or alternative transportation can be arranged at an additional cost to the student.
*All students MUST complete the travel itinerary form online.

Concert Tickets
Students will receive free admission to all concerts. Parents of students may receive complimentary tickets to concerts when the student(s) is performing.
What to Bring
Clothing:
-Light jacket and/or sweater
-Long and short-sleeved shirts
-Good walking shoes
-Shorts and jeans
-Hat and sunglasses
-Swimsuit, sunscreen, and beach towel
-Bug spray
Concert Attire:
(no shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, or casual sandals)
-Boys: black dress pants, black dress shirt, black belt, black socks, and black dress shoes.
-Girls: black dress pants, or black longer skirts, or black dresses. Skirts or dresses should be below the knee or longer because many performances will be performed sitting.
Music Items:
-Your instrument
-Extra strings for string students
-One folding music stand with your name on it
-Metronome (with your name on it)
-Music you are performing (with the measures numbered)
-For cellists, bring a Rock Stop or similar device for your end pin
Outdoor Activity Items:
-Light canteen or water bottle(s)
-Backpack for hiking (and day to day use)
-Swimsuit and beach towel
-Bug spray
-Sunscreen
Personal Items:
-Personal toiletries
-Medications
-Any special food needs
Extras:
-Camera
-A book to read during down time
-Playing cards
-Small portable games for down time
-Talent show props (start thinking ahead about what you might do)
Possible Activities
Swimming, Tennis, Boating, Ultimate Frisbee, Hayrides, Horseback riding, Beach day / Pizza Party (including sand volleyball, paddle boats, Frisbee, and waffle ball), hiking, and Community Variety Show

Student Housing
All students are hosted and “adopted” into residents’ homes. This has proven to be a very rewarding and valuable experience for students and residents alike. Residents’ provide students with breakfast each morning and transportation. Students may request roommates in their student questionnaire, we cannot make any guarantees however we will do our best to accommodate.
